What’s the bad news?

THEY ARE BOOKED UNTIL JULY!! (Our lease is up at the end of this month.) On one hand, it’s good news that so many people donate furniture that they are booked so far out. We thought of renting a truck, but as you also know — we’re broke.

So where does that leave us? We have a plan B. When we moved to Bed-Stuy there were some pieces of furniture that we couldn’t fit in our new (smaller) apartment. So we put the stuff out by the garbage can. To our surprise the stuff was gone in an hour.

Our plan is to put the furniture on the curb and whoever needs/wants it can have it. We’ll still be taking our clothes over to Housing Works though. All of this clutter is driving me crazy!
