Somehow we got the interest of a journalist here in NYC, and he did a small write up on us. Here is the link if you are interested in viewing it.

I have to say that he is a great writer. How he took a short interview and made it seem interesting amazes me. I loved the lead in about the Buddha. It makes me feel as if I really need to practice my writing if I want anyone to be interested in anything I have to say. The graphics guy on the other hand… why does it have to be a psychedelic VW composited on a farm road?
Secondly I have to say I love the comments. For me the best is “This will end in tears.” Yes I have a sense of humor about all this. Everyone must find their own path in life. I know this is not a choice everyone would make, but we have the opportunity, so why not? I will have plenty more of my life to follow a different direction if I need to.

I’ll probably be the first many nymag readers to wish you good luck. May the road rise up to meet you and — have a fab time. You’re doing what a lot of us dream of doing!

I come across families doing this about ever month or two. There have been a couple families on the west coast who bought a sailboat to see the world.
Best wishes.
